5EC9'%®lV VIi[: N®1V-~®N~'®~ ITSES <br />7.1 Contffiuance: ):?xcept as provided in this section, the lawful use of any building or <br />land existing at the time of enactment of this resolution, or nay amendments hereto, may <br />be continued even though such use does not conform to the requirements of this <br />resolution. <br />9.Z 1Jnsafe Buildin>:s: Any non-conforming building or portion thereof declazed unsafe <br />by the County Building Inspector may be strengthened or restored to a safe condition <br />provided the cost of the improvement does not exceed 95% of the replacement cost. <br />7.3 Repairs and P~lainteuance: Ordinary repairs and maintenance of anon-conforming <br />building shall not be deemed an extension of such non-conforming building and shall be <br />permitted, provided the cost of the repairs does not exceed 95% of the replacement cost. <br />7.4 Restoration: Anon-conforming building which has been damaged by fire or other <br />causes may be restored to its original condition, provided such work is commenced <br />within one yeaz of such calamity and the cost of restoration does not exceed 75% of the <br />replacement cost. <br />9.5 Alrandonffient: Whenever anon-confornng use has been discontinued for a period <br />of one (1) year, such use shall not thereafter be re-established, and any future use sha11 be <br />in conformance with the pzovisions of this resolution. <br />7.6 Extensions: Anon-conforming use shalt not be extended or enlazged. <br />7.9 Comxrletion: Any building or structure for which a building permit has been issued <br />prior to the date of enactment of this resolution or any amendment hereto and which <br />building or strncture fails to conform to this resolution or amendment hereto, maybe <br />completed and used in accordance with the plans, specifications and permits on which <br />said building peffiit was granted, if conskruction is commenced within sixty (60) days <br />after the issuance of said permit and diligentlypmsecuted to completion. <br />Gilpin County Zoning Regulations 42 <br />
