{i) Mining, Hard Rock shall mean metallic ore token from subterranean surface <br />veins in solid rode without overburden material removal; and/or existing hard rode <br />mine waste rock removal for metallic ore extraction and/or relocation for <br />reclamation purposes. <br />(j) Mining, Open Cut shall mean the displacement and,/or removal of relatively <br />forge quantities of overburden material greatly altering the natural surface <br />topography. <br />(k) Mining, Placer shall mean metallic ore taken from alluvial deposits where the <br />majority of matrix material is left on site. <br />(I) Mining, Prospecting, shall mean mineral exploration resuhing in no gross income <br />from the sale of mined ore. <br />(m) Mobile Home shall mean a structure, transportable in one or more sections, <br />which, when erected on the site, measures eight (8) body feet or more in Width and <br />thirty-two (32) body feet or more in length, and which is built on a permanen4 <br />chassis and designed without a permanent foundation, when connected to the <br />required urilities, and shall include the plumbing, air-conditioning, and electrical <br />system contained therein. This definition does not include manufactured home. <br />(n) Mobile Home !ot shall mean a plot of ground within a mobile home park <br />legally established under this Zoning Regulation, designed for accommodation of <br />one mobile home 4o be installed for the purpose of asingle-family dwelling in <br />compliance wRh the provisions of this Zoning Regulation. <br />(o) Mobile Home Park shall mean any site or tract of land under single ownership <br />upon which two or more mobile homes, occupied or intended to be occupied for <br />single-family dwelling purposes, are located in compliance with the provisions of <br />this Zoning Regulation. A mobile home park does not include the use of land for <br />the display and sale of mobile homes or for seasonal recreational use. <br />(p) Modular Unrt shall mean afactory-built unit constructed in compliance with the <br />standards of the regional, strne, or iocol building code used by the governmental <br />unit where the house is to be located. The unit is built under the UBC code. The <br />individual components are taken to the site and installed on acode-compliant <br />foundation. <br />f.Til4 -NI <br />(a) Non-Conforming Lot, legal shall mean a parcel of land which lawfully existed <br />as a lot on the effective date of 9hese regulations, but which does not conform to <br />the lot area and or lot dimension standards for the zone in which it is located. <br />Gilpin County Zoning Regulations 18 <br />
