Depth to uniformly calcareous material <br />ranges from 15 to 30 inches. The A horizon is neutral or mildly <br />alkaline. The B2t horizon is neutral to moderately alkaline. The <br />calcium carbonate equivalent of the Cca horizon ranges from about <br />3 percent to 10 percent. The C horizon is moderately alkaline or <br />strongly alkaline. <br />Setting: In the permit area this soil follows old upland <br />drainages. <br />• <br />-17- <br />
