• This usually occurs when the pi[ lengths are the longest and the overburden is the <br />thickest. <br />It was determined from the Operations Plan Map (Exhibit 12-1) that the highest liability, <br />or worse case, would occur in the year 1999. This determination was based on pit length, <br />pit location, amount of spoil, and disturbance ahead of mining (see Tables 13-2-1 and 13- <br />2-2). <br />The calculations, costs, and backup documentation for all disturbed lands and facilities <br />are generally located in the following attachments: <br />Attachment 13-1 Labor and Equipment Costs <br />Attachment 13-2 Areas and Dimensions for Areas to be Reclaimed <br />Attachment 13-3 Worksheets for All Mine Areas <br />Attachment 13-9 Worksheets for All Facilities <br />Attachment 13-5 Revegetation Worksheets <br />Attachment 13-6 FPC and EMF Printouts <br />• 1994 "Worst Case" Year Disturbance <br />Included in this category are the four spoil piles, open pit, areas ahead of mining that <br />have been stripped of -topsoil, ramps, and miscellaneous disturbance areas in and around <br />the open pit. Estimated costs to reclaim the disturbed area come under the headings of: <br />a) Drill and shoot highwall <br />b) Doze highwall material <br />c) Doze adjacent two spoils <br />d) Doze back two spoils <br />e) Grade all ramps (included in spoil grading) <br />f) Topsoil replacement <br />g) Revegetation <br />Reclamation Costs Categories <br />Peabody's experience in reclaiming mined land has shown, for the purpose of estimating <br />costs, contract reclamation activities can be grouped into the following categories: <br />• <br />13-51 Revised 12/01!93 <br />
