<br />'typical Profile: Foralle Loam. <br />Al (0-7"): Light yellowish brown (10YR b/4) loam, dark yellowish brown <br />(10YR 4/4) moist; weak coarse angular blocky structure changing to moderate ~nediu,n <br />angular blocky with depth; slightly hard, vary friable, nonsticky and nonplastic; <br />many roots; mildly alkaline (pH 'T.7); clear smooth boundary. <br />B2t (T-1d"): Pale brown (10YR b/3) loam, brown (10YH 5/3) moist; moderate <br />medium and coarse subangular blocky structure; slightly hard to hard, friable, <br />slightly sticky and slightly plastic; many roots; common thin clay films on ped <br />facts and in pores; slightly effervescent; moderately alkaline (pH T.9 ); Gradual <br />smooth boundary. <br />Baca (1y-33"): Very pals brown (10YR '7 /4) loam, light yellowish brown (10YR <br />r1 <br />U <br />5/4) moist; moderate fine and mediwn subangular blocky structure; hard, firm, <br />slightly sticky and slightly plastic; common roots; taw thin clay films on ped <br />faces; violently effervescent; common Fins seams and threads of lima; moderately <br />alkaline (pH 8. 1); gradual smooth boundary. <br />C1ca (33-44"): Very pale brown (10YR 7/3) loam, light yellowish brown (10YR <br />6/4) moist; weak coarse subangular blocky structure; hard, firm, slightly sticky <br />and slightly plastic; few roots; strongly effervescent; common fins scans and <br />threads of lime; :noderately alkaline (pH 8.4); gradual wavy boundary. <br />C2ca (44-72"): Light yellowish brown (10YR 5/4) sandy clay loan to loam, <br />yellowish brown (tOYR 5/4) moist; massive; slightly hard, very friable, nonsticky <br />and nonplastic; few roots; strongly effervescent; few fine scams, threads and <br />masses of lime; :Wildly to ;noderately alkaline (pH 7.3 to 3.1). <br /> <br />
