<br />Typical Profile: Colorow loam. <br />Al (0-5"): Pale brown (10YR 6/3) loam, brown to dark brown (10YR 4/3) moist; <br />weak fine granular and weak medium subangular blocky structure; soft, vary <br />friable, nonsticky and nonplastic; strongly effervescent, common roots; <br />moderately alkaline (pH 7.9 ); char smooth boundary. <br />AC (5-15"): Light yellowish brown (tOYR b/4) loam, dark yellowish brown <br />(10YR 4/4) moist; weak fine subangular blocky structure; soft, vary friable; <br />nonsticky and nonplastic; strongly effervescent; .nany roots; noderately alkaline <br />(pl1 8.3); gradual smooth boundary. <br />C1 (15-40"): Light gray (10YR 7/2) silt loam to loam, brown to dark brown <br />(10YR 4/3) moist; massive; soft, very friable, nonsticky and nonplastic; strongly <br />effervescent; common roots; 10 percent gravel; mildly to moderately alkaline <br />• (pH 7.6 to 8.0); gradual wavy boundary. <br />C2 (40-50"): Pala brown (10YR 6/3) vary gravelly sandy 1oa~n, brown to darK <br />brown (10YR 4/3) moist; massive; soft, vary friable, nonsticky and nonplastic; <br />strongly effervescent; few fine masses of lime; few roots; 40 percent gravel; <br />moderately alkaline (pH 7.9). <br />• <br />
