Site Map
' The site map (Drawing 11-4) is enclosed.
4. Description of Potential Pollutant Sources/Material Inventory
' a. No materials are or have been treated, stored or disposed
of in a manner to allow exposure to stormwater discharge.
' b. No significant spills or leaks of toxic or hazardous
pollutants have occurred at the facility.
c. The stormwater generated by this mining operations will
' not potentially contain any pollutants except sediment
and coal fines.
' d. No existing discharge sampling exists for stormwater
discharges.
' S. Stormwater Quality Controls
a. SWMP Administrator: The individuals within the mining
organization responsible for developing the SWMP and
assisting the Mine Manager in the implementation of the
plan are Jim Stover and L. Kirt Jewkes with J. E. Stover
' & Associates, 2768 Compass Drive, STE 101, Grand
Junction, CO, 80506, phone 245-4101.
b. Risk Identification and Assessment: The stormwater
' generated by this operation will potentially contain
sediment and coal fines. There is no source of process
water that could become mixed with stormwater. There is
no outdoor storage of chemicals or equipment; outdoor
' milling or processing activities; historic mine drainage;
or tailings ponds that may contribute pollutants to
t stormwater.
c. Preventive Maintenance: Preventive maintenance is
required in the following areas:
1
1) Surface moisture content of the stockpiled coal
will be maintained to prevent visible emissions
' from the stockpile.
i'
