Mr. William A. Bear -5- June 22, 1982
•
•
•
Stipulation No. 13
The response requests an extension of the one-month time frame, to allow Bear Coal
Company to "delineate the potential for use.of a definite coal loadout site."
As discussed with representatives of Bear Coal Company, an extension can be
granted. However, prior to any mining of coal at the Bear No. 3, Bear will be
required to identify the loadout or loadouts to be used. If the Ioadout facilities
have not been permitted by this Division, Bear will be required to submit an
operation description, a sediment control plan, and a reclamation plan for the
loadout. This plan would have to be submitted to and approved by the Division,
and incorporated into the permit prior to production of coal from the Bear No. 3.
Stipulation No. 14
The response satisfies the requirements of the stipulation.
Stipulation No. 15
The subsidence monitoring plan should specify the number, alignment and location
of subsidence monuments. In addition, a typical monument detail drawing must
be provided.
If you have any questi-ons regarding these comments, please contact me.
Si cerely,
~~ ~~
~,v ._ ~ .
/~,~ .._~
Dan T.
