containment if a spill should occur. <br />PREPARATION PLANT OII. STORAGE BUILDINGS <br />These are utilized for storage of oil and flammable liquids. One is located adjacent to the <br />preparation plant building, the other near the sewage treatment plant building. Both have <br />concrete floors. <br />WAREHOUSE BUILDING <br />Chemicals and oils are temporarily stored in this building during the unloading and <br />receiving at the mine site. This building has an impervious concrete floor. Minor spills <br />can be cleaned up immediately without contamination to the outdoor environment. All <br />hazardous chemicals and oils that are ordered require the Safety and Environmental <br />Department review of the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) before an order is placed <br />to reduce the amounts of hazardous exposure to the workforce and environment. <br />WAREHOUSE OIL STORAGE BUILDING <br />Permanent storage of oils and other flammable products is in this building. It is located <br />adjacent to the wazehouse and has a concrete floor. Oil absorbent is used to clean up <br />minor spills or leakage in this building. An outside oil drum rack is located outside of the <br />building. This area is diked and has an impervious brattice flooring for leak or spill <br />containment. <br />SHOP BUILDING -USED OII. AND USED ANTIFREEZE TANKS <br />There are two outside tanks located on the West side of the shop building. They contain; <br />l . Antifreeze - 750 gallons <br />2. Used oil - 2,500 gallons <br />These tanks have a containment structure and are checked consistently for leakage or <br />spills. <br />RAILROAD LOADOUT BUILDING <br />This location has a 10,000 gallon tank containing a "Side Release Agent". This product is <br />used in an antifreezing spray system. The product is piped from the tank to the spraying <br />system location. The tank sits in a containment pad with concrete berms sufficient to <br />contain the total tank contents. The spraying system uses a steel catch basin that drains <br />into a 100 gallon above-ground steel tank that prevents spillage and permits recycling of <br />the product. <br />
