This exemption allows rnoinhly monitoring in lieu of x~teklp monitoring <br />during [he period from November through February due to adverse weather conditions. The permittee also asked <br />that this exemption be extended to ourjalls 005, 009 and 011 on the same basis. The exemption is grained, however <br />more specific language has been included in the permit to rlanjy that this exemption is only available where access <br />would be hazardous to personnel. This is consistent with monitoring exemptions granted to other permittees and is <br />the only basis under which the Division believes we are justified in granting such an exemption. <br />C. Reporting <br />1. Discharge Monitoring Report: Seneca Coal Company must submit a Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR) on a <br />• quarterly basis to the Division. This report should contain the required summarization of the test results for <br />parameters shown in Tables VI-9 through VI-11 and Pan I. B.1 of the permit. See the permit, Part /. E. 1. for details <br />on such submission. <br />2. Special Reports: Special reports are required in the event oja spill, bypass, or other noncompliance. Please refer <br />to Pan I. E. of the permit jot reporting requirements and Pan II.A. for notification requiremeins. <br />
