See Section I.B.3. <br />3. Post-Mining Areas - 001, 002, 003, 005, 006, 008, 009, 010, 011, 012, <br />013 and 014 <br /> <br />Commencing at the time active mining has ceased and surface areas have <br />been returned to the required contour, all applicable discharges shall <br />be subject to limitations other than those specified in Part I.A.1. <br />These post-mining limitations shall remain in effect until bond <br />release. The permittee shall notify the Division upon cessation of <br />active mining so that appropriate permit modifications can be made. <br />4. Best Management Practices - 001, 002, 005 <br />For the pH variance, as listed in Part I.A.1 and I.A.4, to be in <br />effect, the permittee must be taking all reasonable measures to reduce <br />the pH, including the use of a C02 bubbler at the outfal.l(s). <br />Documentation of such shall be submitted with the applicable DMR any <br />time a pH level of over 9.0 s.u. is reported. <br />The permittee may develop other appropriate measures to control pH, <br />such as the use of appropriate algicides, aquatic life, etc. However, <br />such measures in addition to or instead of the C02 bubbler must be <br />approved by the Division via a permit amendment prior to their use." <br /> <br />
