EXHIBIT C SDI
Mining Plan
The original mining operation was approved in Mazch of 1943, M-92-] 03. The original permit,
Special Operation 111 Permit, was used for State Highway construction. The conversion of this
previously approved 111 permit will allow the operator to mine the material in the 9.9 acre site
for commercial use.
All topsoil and overburden will be salvaged. Topsoil is relatively scarce on the site. The
overburden may vary from 0 inches to 12 inches in depth. All topsoil and overburden removed
from the mining area will be stockpiled and used for reclamation purposes. Many areas of the
site have no topsoil or overburden. All unusable fines will be stockpiled in separate aeeas from
the topsoil and uses as additional cover during reclamation. All stockpiles will be located away
from mining traffic and on upland sites where they will not be affected by stormwater.
The plant site will be mobile and internal to the mining operation and located on the mining
floor.
The thickness of the deposit is approximately 50 to 100 feet thick. The mining operation will
remove a maximum often feet of material on the site.
Whinnery Pi[
DMG 110 Permit Appliation
