2.05.6 (3) (6) (iii) <br />`•~ A plan for the collection, recording, and reporting of ground and surface <br />water quality data, according to 4.05.13. <br />RESPONSE <br />I. GROUNDWATER - MINE AREA <br />The following groundwater monitoring plan is proposed. <br />1. Prior to initial sampling, all groundwater monitoring wells <br />will be purged of 3 to 3-1/2 times the volume of water <br />standing in the well. Subsequent sampling will consist of <br />purging the well of the total volume contained in it and <br />then allowing the water level to re-equilibrate. <br />2. All partial and complete groundwater analyses will include <br />field measurements of pH, temperature, conductivity, and <br />water level to reflect conditions at the time of sampling. <br />3. Water levels in all monitoring wells will be measured semi- <br />annually. <br />4. Water quality samples will be taken from alt monitoring wells <br />semi-annually.
