Please submit a proposal for monitoring springs and seeps dur- <br />ing and after the mining operation. <br />RESPONSE <br />The springs and seeps illustrated on Exhibit I of the ground <br />water report in Appendix R of Volume YII have been monitored on <br />a semi annual basis. Samples have been obtained for water qual- <br />ity analysis and flow rates will be measured. The springs will <br />be developed so that free falling samples can be obtained and <br />flow rates can be calculated. Development will include either <br />directing the flow via a pipe or shallow excavation. <br />• <br />• <br />
