RATES FOR ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH THE EXCAVATION, TRANSPORTATION <br />AND DISPOSAL OF PETROLEUM-CONTAMINATED SOILS. <br />ACT1V[TY MAXIMUM RATE <br />Ezcavation and loading $9.75/cu yd <br />Transponation of contaminated soil $8.00/cu yd <br />Disposal of contaminated soil $12.00/cu yd <br />Backfill and compaction (purchase, vansport, compact backfill material) $7.00/cu yd <br />Backfill and compaction (clean excavated material) $4.63/cu yd <br />Remove and dispose of asphalt or concrete $2.00/sq f[ <br />Replace asphalt $2.50/sq ft <br />Replace concrete $4.50/sq Ft <br />Traffic control ~ actual cost <br />Permits actual cost <br />4-3-2. MILEAGE. <br />IOa/mile/cubic yard for each mile over 40 miles from excavation site to disposal site, not to exceed 200 miles total one-way. <br />4-3-3. LABORATORY ANALYSIS. <br />Laboratory analysis is recommended for each 100 cubic yards excavated to confirm the level of contamination. <br />4-3-4. MANIFESTS. <br />All transportation and waste manifests are required <br />4-3-5. CONVERSION FACTOR. <br />If any excavation, transportation or disposal activities are billed by the ton instead of cubic yard, <br />use this conversion factor: 1.4 tons = I cu yd <br />4-3-6. APPLICANT-PERFORMED. <br />Fund Applicants who perform their own work are entitled to reimbursement at the maximum rates established at §4-3-I. <br />4-3-48.
