• The Weste~~nan Ditch for irrigation is located approximately
mile south of the property and will not be impacted. The water
source for the ditch is Sacramento Creek.
The glacial till is extremely porous, and little or no ground-
water should be encountered in the pit. Test holes in the area
have been dry.
There are several wells in the area for summer hones. All wells
are at least % mile from the proposed operation and should not
be affected. The wells are drilled to bedrock, and the operation
will only affect glacial till. Owners of record for groundwater
wells in Sections 29 and 32 are listed below. The i nformation
was obtained from the Colorado water Resources Division.
DATE
N.M'E SECTION ADJUDICATED WELL FLOW
West, Philip 29 10-01-70 6
Purkey, Lewis 29 11-01-73 1.5
• Condray, Kenneth 29 06-17-73 8
Lowsma, Caroline 29 11-14-73 3
T-R Development 29 0?-07-75 10
Rice, Donald 29 09-26-81 6
Adams, Jo Ann 32 06-26-73 7
Jones, Ivan 32 08-23-74 6
Renshaw, Mary 32 09-23-81 15
Kinny, Kathryn 32 06-07-76 10
Mahe, Milton 32 06-20-79 12
Blackstone, David 32 06-30-79 8
Nichols, John 32 07-01-82 5
The processing operation will require approximately 3 acre feet
of water per year.
