OUTCOME OF PUEBLO COUNTY SPECIAL USE PERMTI'
HEARING
The Pueblo County Special Use Permit Hearing for Siloam Stone was continued until
March 19th, 1998 at 7 p.m, and was assigned a separate meeting, with this being the only
agenda item This continuance came after a motion by Kim Hadley of the Pueblo Planning
and Zoning Commission, because there were a great deal of issues to be considered and a
great deal of public concern over the issue, as evidenced by the large citizen tum out,
letters of protest, petition, and local media coverage (both television and newspaper).
Attached please Snd a letter indicating that the issue is continued, a letter from Redcreek
Landowner Barbaza Voss which was to be presented requesting the continuance, but
which proved unnecessary because the Planning Commission moved to continue, and also
several documents contained in a packet which was submitted by a large group of
concerned landowners to the Pueblo County Zoning and Planning Commission, citing
reasons Siloam Stone should not be granted this Specia] Use Permit.
