Well 2968 dissolution surface at 1656'.
9/212p14 Installed 434" wireline plug in short string 4 Yz' - 534" VIT at 1fl57. Cut 4 Yz" P-110 blank joint at 1847. While pumping brine into
the short string, Nte short string tubing failed at the crossover to the VIT at the wellhead.
9/3/2004 Rig up Key Energy on well.
9/7/2004 Pull 2366' (aB) of 4 r/z" and 4 t/z" - 5 t/z" VIT combination long string. Set cast von bridge plug ¢t 7' long string casing at 1714.
9/8/2004 Initiated fishing on the short string VIT tubing. After several attempts to cut and fish the VIT tubing, a drilling collaz sever charge
was set off at 1710'. The sever charge appazendy ballooned the VIT and was unsuccessful.
9/10/2004 Successfully'backed ofF the short string VIT at 1681'. Pulled 1681' of 4 Ya" - 5 t/z" VIT and set cast iron bridge plug ®1664'.
Since ASLLP used a sever charge at 1710' and probable damage to the T' cashing ocaraecl, the decision was made to Plug and Abandon the
well.
9/13/2004 -Key Energy ran 1684' of 2 7/8" tubing into the T' short string casing. Flalliburton pumped 233 sacks of cement and circulated to
the surface. Key ran 1693' of 2 7/8" tubing into the T' long string casing. flalEblrrton pumped 237 sacks of cement and arculated to the
surface.
The cement used was Type G, 35% SSA-1, 0.2% CFR-3, 15.6 #/gal, 1.55 ft3/sack cement in each T' casing for a total of 470 sacks for the weLL
The wellhead is scheduled to be cutdown on 9/14/04.
