existing roads. The new private access road wilt conform to the general driveway
construction standards set by Chaffee County. The dimensions for the new
private access road are 24ft wide and SOOR long. Roads will be crowned with a
minimum of a 2% slope to allow for drainage off the road. A natural channeled
side ditch will provide drainage for possible stormwater runoff. Flow directions
aze shown on exhibit E -Reclamation Plan.
11. The owner of the road that runs through the property in aNorth- South direction
is V. Paul Moltz. The only landowner Mr. Nick Demos having a vacation
property to the south of Mr. Molt's property has a prescriptive easement which is
being replaced with a recorded easement on Mottz Ranch Road.
12. Mining Phases located on mine plan exhibit.
13. Mining will occur 20-28 ft above ground water. Additional ground water data
information attached as exhibit G.
14. ACA Products Inc. 702 Gregg Drive, Buena Vista, Co 81211 will supply water
for any haul toad dust control.
15. The bank of the Arkansas River elevation is 7790 ft. Allowing 2ft for the high
waternazk the100 yeaz floodplain wouki be approximately 8 R above this
elevation at 7798ft. The Bray Allen Irrigation ditch which we piped in 2003 has
an elevation of 7818-7822 ft. That leaves approximately 20 ft between our road
and the potential danger for flooding. The potential for offsite impacts under a
worst case scenario are little to none. FIRM Map attached as Exhibit H.
16. We have applied for a screening and or crushing permit with Chaffee County.
Crushing will only occur if a large project with CDOT or a Private Contractor
calls for material on the 24/285 corridor. We have addressed this with Chaffee
County who suggested we app! y for the special use permit. Screening of material
will occur throughout the winter months. State permits requested include the
screening equipment.
17. Mr. V. Paul Moliz owner of the affected land will be the only user of the river
access road at this time. The Park and Recreation facility would be caned and
regulated with the Chaffee County Government should the access became public.
18. Design of the River Park will be left to an architect specializing in park
development. At this time we do not have plans for the retaining walls as far as
dimensions and stability. No retaining walls will be constructed at this time.
19. All available topsoil from the mining site will be salvaged and redistributed at an
amount greater than 6 inches. The current steep exposed face will have little or
no topsoil available approximately 2.7 acres. Exhibit E- Reclamation Plan
Topsoil quantities revision.
20. The shrub species to be used with the seed mix is Basin Big Sagebrush and the
proposed rate in pure live seed will be 3PLS per acre.
21. The permitted acreage drainage characteristics and soil classification show very
little if any runoff. The soils located in this area have high infiltration rates. The
proposed detention ponds will consist of creating onsite depressions to slow down
the rate of flow and to act as a detention basin. No water will be stored in these
depressions.
22. Division of Minerals and Geology estimate of reclamation
