CO 81211 <br />RECEIVEp <br />OCT 0 31pp5 <br />fl~bion of Minulraad, <br />The request is for a private river access road on private property owned by Mr. Moltz. <br />Response to the following adequacy review concerns <br />1. Proof of Publication of the public notice circulated in the focal newspaper. Proof <br />of notice to all owners of record. Attached as Exhibit A <br />2. Maps signed by a registered land surveyor. Attached as Exhibit E <br />3. No wetlands exist on the area to be permitted. No 404 Permit will be requested at <br />this time. Future use may include boating access at which time a 404 Permit will <br />be requested with the Core of Engineers. Letter received by Division of Minerals <br />and Geology attached as exhibit B. <br />4. Designs and drawings of the relocated ditch area referenced on Reclamation Map <br />Exhibit E and shown as attachment E- 1. <br />5. Department of Comctions fence identified on Mining Plan and Reclamation Plan <br />maps. <br />6. The overall depth of the material extraction is 34 ft and anticipated slope of the <br />mining face will be 3 to 1. Reference to the proximity of mining in regards to the <br />bray-Allen pipe currently in place attached as Exhibit D. <br />7. Topsoil piles will be protected with a temporary seed mixture. Dimensions of the <br />topsoil piles will be 100' by 50'and 100' by 40' located on mining plan exhibit. <br />Information for temporary seed mix attached as Exhibit F. <br />8. The entrance road between the Moltz Ranch road and the mine site is the existing <br />access road for the property owner. No upgrades will be necessary to access the <br />mine site. <br />9. Haul road located on Exhibit E -Mining Plan Map. <br />10. The proposed private access road will be used only by the landowner. Should the <br />project site become public in the future, guidelines will be provided by the <br />Chaffee County Road Department. Dimensions of the existing Moltz Ranch <br />access road are 60ft wide by 1800 ft long. No improvements will be necessary on <br /> <br />
