Topsoil will. be stripped and stockpiled using scrapers and <br />dozers. F'er.imeter- drains, ~•umps anrisettling ponds will be <br />constructed with an excavator. When suitable gravel is <br />encountered during construction of 'the dewatering system, <br />gravels will he separated for processing. <br />D. When (if? overburden i.s encountered, 'the material will be <br />removed by scrapers and dozers if ground conditions permit. <br />If wet conditions are encountered the material will be <br />separated and e;;cavated with an excavator and loaded on <br />haul units. Where operations permit, the over-harden rri11 <br />be used as 6ac4::fi11 in previ.ousl.y e;cavated areas. IJue to <br />the e:;plorai=ory tests, it is an~tic.ipated that very little <br />overburden will. be encot.rntered, therefore we do nat. antici- <br />pate handling problems associated with the overburden <br />removal.
