• reddish orange Jerry loam. The roadbed has very shallow <br />soils over weathered sandstone. The Pill elopes contain a <br />soil mixture with good revegetation potential. Sample #7, <br />taken from the cut slopes of this segment, had Prom 15 to <br />30~ cobbles. Road segments #3, #6, and #7 are similar to <br />road segment #1. <br />Segments #8 and #9 are similar to segment #5• Segment <br />#9 needs to be reclaimed. <br />Road to Drill Sites #8 and #8A <br />The lateral road to drill sites #8 and #8A was divided <br />into Pour segments for evaluation. The first road segment <br />includes drill site #8A. Drill site #8 is included in segment <br />• #2. <br />Segment #1 contains shallow to moderately deep colluvial <br />soils over fractured sandstone or weathered shale. Cut slopes <br />are almost vertical and expose sandstone and shale under <br />one to two inches of topsoil, colluvial stony loam, or clay <br />losm. The roadbed is shallow stony clay or stony loam over <br />sandstone. The fill slopes contain soil mixtures that are <br />revegetating. This area needs to be reclaimed. <br />The pad for drill site #8, included in road segment <br />#2 is a mixture of weathered sandstone a..? shallow cobbly, <br />loamy soils. <br />Road segment #3 is an area of basalt cobble.. The cut <br />• banks and roadbed consist of clay. Fill elopes are <br />revegetating. <br /> <br />
