Hydrogeologic investigation per- formed on the permit area did not indicate that water inflow into the mine should sub- stantially increase in [he near future. 'I7ie need for water supply into the mine will prob- ably increase in the future because of the areal expansion of the mine and associated dust control requirements. Nine inflow, if discharged, flows into mine site sedimentation Pond Nos. 1 and 2. As is indicated on page 27, Section 2.05.3(3)(b), actual volume exceeds required volume by 0.12 ac-ft. Because o_` series construction, Pond Nos. 3 and 4 can also store flows from Ponds 1 and 2. Excess storage is 0.40 ac- ft . or - 130,331 gallons. CSI will not discharge more than 130,000 gallons at one time from mine in- flow without revising the surface water sys- tem.
