The hazardous materials mentioned in your letter (specifically fuel, oil, hydraulic fluid, antifreeze,
asphalt and batteries) will only be stored on the site on a limited temporary basis, less than 2
months duration, during crushing or paving operations. Berms will be constructed to contain a
minimum of 110% of the maximum volume. Any spills will be cleaned up immediately and
disposed of properly. Unused hot-mixed bituminous pavement will not be stored on the site.
EXHIBIT E - A revised Exhibit E & Fwith apost-mining contour map is attached.
A revised EXHIBIT C map, signed by the surveyor, is attached. This map shows the existing
contours and proposed pit limits by metes and bounds.
Revised Exhibit F map is attached to indicate the approximate contours of the post mining pit.
The following will amend the proposed RECLAMATION PLAN to address this question.
EXHIBIT E & F should be amended as follows:
7. As areas of the pit are
mined out, they will be formed back to a natural contour as described in Item 3, topsoiled and
seeded. Disturbed areas not mined out and topsoil stockpiles will be reseeded within one year of
disturbance if not used on a yearly basis. The seed mix and application rate for temporary
seeding will as described in 7.
The following will amend the proposed RECLAMATION PLAN to address this question.
EXHIBIT E & F section l should be amended as follows:
1.
