Revised 03/15/96
EXHIBIT "C"
PRE-MINING AND MINING PLAN MAP OF AFFECTED AREA
SPRING CREEK PASS
The location of the proposed 1 12 pit is shown on the attached map. The contours
indicate the location of the present excavation within the 1 1 I pit. The 35.0 acres of the proposed
112 pit extends southwesterly to an existing USFS fence. See attached map.
North Clear Creek is about a half mile to the northeast ofthe pit limits. There is an active
tributary to North Clear Creek passing through the northeasterly pit limits. Two 24" culverts are
in place where the access road crosses the tributary. The existing pit is dry and no discharge is
associated with this site or operation. CDOT has a Stormwater Discharge Permit from the
Colorado Department of Health, COR-320024. A copy of the Stormwater Management Plan can
be found in EXI-IIBIT "G".
Soils and vegetation information from the U. S. Department of Agriculture is attached to
this Exhibit "I & T'.
The USFS fence and two 24" culverts in the access road are the only man-made structures
within 200 feet of the pit limits. There are no other landowners within 200 feet of the pit limits.
