The placement is needed to <br />reconstruct the drainage in its approximate original channel and at the <br />same elevation. Therefore, there is no stockpiled box cut spoil and no <br />box cut spoil will be hauled to the final pit. <br />2.05.4 <br />B. Release of Performance Bonds <br />RESPONSE: <br />Peabody has chosen to reconsider its approach to bonding and will not <br />ask for transfer or release of bonds in conjunction with a request for <br />approval of this permit renewal application. General Assumptions <br />RESPONSE: <br />C For the purposes of bond calculations, Peabody will aacpt the • <br />recommended operating engineers construction workers outlined below: <br />Dozer Operator - 517.70/hr - add $.20/hr for swing and $.40/hr for <br />graveyard <br />Scraper Operator - $17.90/hr - add $.20/hr for swing and $.40/hr for <br />graveyard <br />Motor Grader Operator - 517.90/hr - add $.20/hr for swing and $.40/hr <br />for graveyard <br />Drag Line - $18.10/hr - add 5.20/hr for swing and $.40/hr for graveyard <br />Water Truck - 516.30/hr - add $.20/hr for swing and 5.40/hr for <br />graveyard <br />In addition, as specified in the Ci~LRD permit renewal adequacy <br />comments, a job efficiency factor of 0.79 is applied to the appropriate <br />project costs. Mobilization and demobilization costs have been added <br />to equipment costs utilized for computing the r•eclaniation cost <br />estimate. <br />In response to comments found on Page 10, 2.05.4(A), Item a2, Peabody <br />has calculated the "worst case" condition of four spoil rows behind the <br />longest active pit which will occur during this 5 year mine plan <br />40 Revised 8/27/86 <br />
