7. Mining_Timetable <br />Mining of the 9.97 acre disturbed area will last approximately 4 yeazs, depending on equipment, <br />weather and gravel demand. Assuming mining starts in June of 2004, reclamation would be com- <br />pleted by the June of 2009. <br />The following timetable is a best estimate of the sequence of operations for the life of the mine: <br />Task # Description Time Needed <br />1 Strip Topsoil and Construct Berms 0.25 mos. <br />2 Move in Plant Equipment, Set Up Operation 0.5 month <br />3 Dewater reserve and excavate gravel 50 months <br />4 Remove mining equipment, bridge and sell mined material 8.0 months <br />5 Replace topsoil on disturbed area 0.5 months <br />6 Reseed upper areas and lake edges 0.25 months <br />Total: 59.5 months or 4.95 years <br />8. Schedule of Operations <br />Mining operations may occur year round but will normally occur from April through November. <br />The operator will not have night gravel mining operations, although minor truck activity may occur <br />after hours.
