interfere with Grace's operations, to go upon the Property
for the purpose o£ inspecting the mining operations.
(d) Taxes, Mortgages or Other Liens. At its ~
option and in the event of default of payment by Christy,
Grace may pay for Christy any mortgages, taxes or other
liens now or hereafter, existing, levied or assessed on
or against the Coal for which Christy may be liable and
be subrogated to the rights of the holder or holders
thereof and may reimburse itself out of any payment
thereafter accruing to Christy hereunder. However,
Christy may refuse to pay any claims asserted against
him which he disputes in good faith. Christy shall
contest any suit or other action commenced to enforce
such a claim or to sell or foreclose the Coal pursuant
to any such claim, and, i£ the contest is decided against
Christy, shall promptly pay the judgment.
(e)~ Commingling. Grace shall have the right
of commingling any coal produced by Croce under this
lease with any other coal provided that the commingling
is accomplished only after the coal has been fairly and
accurately weighed. An accurate record of the tonnage
of coal produced by Croce under this lease which is so
commingled shall be kept and made available to Christy
at all reasonable times.
(f) Method of Operation. Grace may use and
employ all such methods o£ exploration, development and
mining as it may desire or find most profitable and
economical and may, when it deems it necessary or desir-
able, discontinue operations entirely so long as it
shall well and truly meet its obligations hereunder to
pay the minimum monthly royalties and production roy-
alties due, if any, provided that Grace shall not be ,
required to mine, preserve or protect in its mining
operations any coal which under good mining practices
