Revised 1/28/80
Section 785.19(c) Continued
(Map 6), and on the schedule described in Table 101, Hydrologic Monitor-
ing Schedule.
The fourth subject area, the floodplain of Foidel Creek within and
adjacent to the mine plan area, has been found to meet the geortarphic
criteria of unconsolidated stream-laid deposits holding streams. Field
observations have confirmed that the area in the eastern half of Section 7,
Township 4 North, Range 86 West, is a representative site for use in
• gathering data on the water availability of the entire Foidel Creek
floodplain. This area is mapped in detail on the Eclonatl Park Stream
Channel Cross Sections (Map 51). The drainage in 'the area is through an
epheneral tributary to Foidel Creek. This unnamed tributary is adjacent
to and drains the Eckman Park mine area in its headwaters, flaw northeast
and then turns north near Pinnacle Peak, where it is fed by another
epheneral tributary fran the east, and finally meets Foidel Creek one-
half mile north of the Ec]vnan Park mine area. At the southern base of
Pinnacle Peak is a depositional reach of the stream where a thorough
water availability field irnestigation was conducted, hereinafter referred
to as the "study area".
WATER AVAILABILITY CHARACTERISTICS
Agricultural Activities. Section 779.22 contains a description and map
. of agricultural activities in the mine plan and adjacent area. The
785-9(s)
