RPR-08-1999 10 41 RGRPITO RSSOCIRTES 970 245 9234 P.04
Draft.• April 7, /999 Page 2
of all routine and special maintenance and calibration will be maintained in an appropriate field log
book.
Field instrumentation will be calibrated on-site at the beginning of each sampling day, or at
any time that instrument readings aze questionable. Calibration of the pH, conductivity, and
temperature meter will be performed as outlined in Appendix C, Standazd Operating Procedure for
Crroundwater Sampling.
6.3 Data Reduction, Validation, and Reporting
6.3.1 Data Reduction
Data reduction includes all processes that change the numeric value of the raw data. All field
data azc generated by drrectly reading the instrumentation (no calibration curves ate generated).
Therefore, no reduction of field data will be performed.
Alt laboratory data reduction will be performed in accordance with the appropriate
methodology and presented as analytical results. T1re laboratory data will be reviewed to verify that
the appropriate units are assigned to all concentrations. Additionally, further data reduction may
include graphing using spreadsheet or database softwaze.
6.3.2 Data Validation
Data will be evaluated for precision, accuracy, and completeness. Validation of field data
will be performed by an internal documented annual procedures audit.
6.4 Data Management
All analytical data reports will be tabulated within 1 month of receipt from the laboratory.
Analytical laboratory data will be available for inspection and maintained in a central job fjle. All
records wi l I be maintained for the life of the mine. 'types of records to be maintained for this proj ect
include the following:
Field log books
Chain-of-custody records
• Any discrepancy/deficiency reports
Laboratory analytical reports
All supporting QC information
Agapito Associates, lnc.
