Henderson <br />Sub: Meeting with BLP1 representatives; <br />Re: Trapper Wildlife Program <br />The Trapper Wildlife program and baseline information is undergoing <br />review as to having the needed data for this year's permit application.' <br />EQ is concerned with having correct data and utilizing this data to meet <br />the requirements of the permit application. It was felt that a meeting <br />should be held with the BLM to discuss these matters as it is evident <br />that the local BLM office will review the permit application. <br />rn;lu. }AI hee, <br />A meeting was held :larch ~, 1980, at the Snake River BLM office. <br />• Attendents were Herb Conely, [wildlife Specialist and Lane Osborn, Range <br />Specialist from the BLAI and [dayne Sowards and Larry Henderson from <br />Trapper Mine. <br />Several items were discussed and are itemized below. <br />1. Species Inventory <br />The BLM felt that Trapper's species inventory information may not <br />be as accurate as shown. They felt the roadside bird counts were not / <br />made often enough and most of the information was not taken on an area <br />indicative of the mine plan area. Small mammal information was also <br />questioned..._Sh\BLr(-recommended that Trapper obtain copies of the <br />"Latilong Studies" put out by the Colorado Division of Wildlife. This <br />study lists species according to vegatative type and its relative <br />abundance. The Trapper Mine and adjacent area are included in this <br />study. The BLAt representatives felt that current literature available <br />E-7 <br />
