The permittee shall notify [he Division a[ the <br />appropriate time so that considers[ion of modifications to this permit can be made. <br />B. MONITORING REQUIREMENTS <br />1. Frequencv and Satrtple Tvce <br />Cn order to obtain an indication of the probable compliance or noncompliance with the effluent limitations specified in Pan <br />I.A.1, the permittee shall monitor all effluent pazameters at the following frequencies. Such monitoring will begin <br />immediately and last for [he life of the permit unless otherwise noted. Pttmping may occur at vazious <br />locations within [he pits as appropriate a[ a specific point in time. Outfalls 004 and 007 originate in the East Pi[, <br />outfalls 008 and O10 originate in the West Pit and outfall 009 origina[es in the Section 16 Pit. <br />If the permittee, ruing the approved analytical methods, monitors any pazameter more frequently than required by [his <br />permit, then the resulu of such monitoring shall be included in the calculation and reporting of the values required in <br />the Discharge Monitoring Report Form (DMRs) or other forms as required by the Division. Such increased frequency <br />shall also be indicated. <br />c. Oil and Grease Monitoring <br />For every outfall with oil and grease monitoring, in [he event an oil sheen or floating oil is observed, a grab sample <br />shall be collected, analyzed, and reported on the appropriate DMR. In addition, corrective action shall be [aken <br />immediately to tttitiga[e the dischazge of oil and grease. A descrip[ion of the corrective action [aken should be <br />included with the DMR. <br />
