1
Rationale: Public access is not available along this segment
therefore preventing recreational uses. The limited down-
stream use of water for agriculture is protected. Fish
historically have not occupied this segment and the habitat is
not conducive to supporting permanent populations.
Applicable standards to these classifications are:
D0: 6.0 mg/1
pH: 6.5 - 9.0
Cyanide (free): 0.2 mg/1
Boron: 0.75 mg/1
Arsenic: 0.1 mg/1
Cadimum: 0.01 mg/1
Chromium (Tri.): 0.1 mg/1
Chrcmium (Hex.): 0.1 mg/1
Copper: 0.2 mg/1
Lead: 0.1 mg/1
Nickel: 0.2 mg/1
Selenium: 0.02 mg/1
Zinc: 2.0 mg/1
UPPER MIDDLE FORK AND DAVIS GULCH
Middle Fork from 1.75 miles above confluence with Parachute
Creek to headwaters including Davis Gulch and all tributaries
should not be classified since surface flows are contained in
sediment ponds. Exxon will submit a motion to the Commission
regarding this issue. However, in the unlikely event that
these waters must be classified, the most appropriate
classification would be Agriculture with the following water
quality standards:
Floating Solids - Free from
Taste, Odor, Color - free from
Dissolved Oxygen - 6.0 mg/1 minimum
pH - 6.0 - 9.0
iv
