It is also recommended for the control <br />of certain noxious and troublesome weeds. Consul[ the "Weeds Convol7ed" and <br />"Brush Species Controlled" tables to determine [he appropriate application rnte. <br />CORT XP maybe applied in tank mixture with other herbicides ]abekd for use <br />nontrop sites. FuOy read the labels end follow all directions and restrictions <br />n each label. <br />Application Timing <br />For best results, DuPontTS' ESCORT XP should be applied postemergence m <br />young, actively growing wecds. Because ESCORTS XP degrndadon is slowed by cold or frown soils, <br />applications made the late Summtt or FaU should consider the intcrvals as begin- <br />ning in the Spring following treamrent <br />Testing has indicated that there is considerable variation in msponse among the <br />species of grasses when seeded into areas treated with ESCORTS XP. If species <br />other than those listed above am to be planted into areas treated wddt ESCORT <br />XP a field bioassay should tie perfortned, or previous experience may be used, to <br />determine the feasibility of replanting vested sites. <br />TURF, INDUSTRIAL (UMMPROVED ONLY) <br />Applcation Information <br />ESCORT XP is recommended for selective weed control in unimproved in• <br />dustrial turf where certain grasses arc well established end desved'as ground <br />cover. ESCOR'1® XP is also recommended for dre control of certain noxious and <br />troublesome wends in turf, <br />In addition to convcntiona] spiny equipmcnt, ESCORT XP may also be ap- <br />plied with inveR emulsion equipment.
