Appliratons maybe made by air, high volume ground application, <br />low volume ground application and alas-low volume ground application. Except <br />as noted for multiflom rose, ESCOA'I~ XP should be applied as a spmy to the <br />foliage. <br />The application volume required will vary with the hcigbt and density of the bmsh <br />and the application equipment used. Refer to the "Accord" label for list of <br />species centrofled. <br />"Arsenal' herbicide <br />Combine 1 to 2 ounces of ESCOR'Im XP with 1 to 4 pints of "Arsenal" her- <br />bicide per acrc and apply as a broadcast spmy. Aerial applications should use a <br />minimum of 15 gallons per acre spmy volume. Tn addition m species listed above <br />controlled by ESCOR-I® XP, this combination controls black gum, hophombeam, <br />sassafras,:weetgum, Vaccinium species, dogwood, myrtle dahoov, hickories, and <br />persimmon. <br />"Garton" 3A or "Garton" 4 <br />After consulting the "Bmsh Species Contmlled" table, tank. m& the prescribed <br />rate of LhlrontTC' ESCOR'1~ XP with the rate of "Garton" indicated for the <br />various apvlication methods on the "Gallon" label. Refer m the "Garton" label <br />for list of species controlled. <br />DuPont''' 1{REMTE® S <br />After consulting the "Brush Species Controlled" table, tank mu the prescribed <br />rate of ESCORI° XP with the rate of KREMTE° S indicated for ttm various <br />application methods on the KREMTE° S label. Refer to the KREMTE° S label <br />for list of species controlled. <br />"Tordon" K <br />After consulting the "Bmsh Species Controlled" tablq tank mix the prcxnbed <br />rate of ESCORT° XP with the rate of "Tordon" K indicated for the various <br />application methods on the "Tordon" K label. Refer to the 'lTordon" K label <br />for list of species controlled. <br />"Tordon" K + "Arsenal" herbicde <br />Combine 1 to 1 V_ ounces of ESCOR7® XP with 2 to 8 fluid ounces of "Arsenal" <br />and 1 to 2 pints of "Tordon" K per 100 gallons of water. Apply as a high volume <br />spmy. The rank miz controls cherry, elms, boz elder, maples, hackberry, rcdbud, <br />ash, oaks (including shingle oak), black locust and sassafras. <br />"'Tordon" }, is a restricted use pesticide. <br />Spoigun Basal Soil Treatment <br />For control of multiflom rose, prepare a spmy suspension of ESCOR'h XP by <br />mixing 1 ounce per gallon of water. Mix vigorously until the ESCORT° XP a <br />dispersed and agitate periodically widle applying the spmy suspension. <br />Apply the spmy preparation with an exact delivery handgun applicator. Apply <br />at the rate of 4 milliliters for each 2 feet of rose canopy diameter.. Direct the <br />treatment to dre soil within 2 Feet of the stem union. When treating large plants <br />and more than one delivery is required, make applications on opposite sides of <br />the plant. <br />Applications should be made from early spring to summer. <br />IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS-NON-CROP BRUSH ONLY <br />• When using tank mixtures of ESCORT° XP with companion herbicides, read <br />and follow all use instructions, applicatlon rates, warnings and precautions <br />appearing on the labels. Fo]]ow the most restrictive Label instmctions for oath <br />of the heri»cides used. <br />SPRAY EQUIPMENT - <br />Following an ESCOR'1® XP applicatlon, do not use the sprayer or mixing equip- <br />mrnt for application to agriculmml crops, except that it may be uxd to treat <br />pasture, range and wheat. This is extremely important as low rntu of ESCORT°~ <br />XP can kill or severely injure most agricultural crops. <br />The selected sprayer should be equipped with an agitation system to keep <br />ESCORT® XP suspended in the spmy tank. Use a sufficient volume of water m <br />thoroughly cover the foliage of undesvable weeds, generally ]0 m 40 gallons per <br />acre.
