<br />Tank mix 1 to 2 ounces of ESCORT XP with 10 m 24 fluid ounces of "Arsenal"
<br />Applicator's Concentrau per acre. Loblolly and slash pines may be transplanted
<br />the planting season fallowing application. The combination controls ash, black
<br />gum, chery, hawthorn, honeysuckle, hophombeam, persimmon, oaks (red, cable
<br />and water), sassafas, sweetgum, Vaccinium species, and suppresses blackbeny,
<br />dogwood, elms, myrtle dahoon, hickories, and red maple.
<br />"ACCard" + °Arsenal" Applicators Concentrate
<br />Tank mix V to 1 ounce of ESCORT XP with 16 to 64 fluid ounces of "Ac-

<br />acre to control the species indicated, including kudzu.

<br />e of vigor <:aused by insects, diseases, draught. winter damage, animal damage,
<br />excessive soil moisture, planting shock, or other stresses may injure or kill the
<br />trees.
<br />• Applications of ESCORT. XP made for herbaeeous release should only be
<br />made after adequate minfaO has closed the planting slit and settled the soil
<br />around [he mots following transplanting.
<br />• Do not apply ESCORT XP m conifers grown as omamenml5.

<br />ESCORT }:P may be applied as a site prepamdon treatrnent prior to planting

<br />red alder, ESCORT XP may be tank mixed with other herbicides labeled for this
<br />use.
<br />ESCORT XP may also be applied over-the-top ofplanted yellow poplar seedlings
<br />after the soil has settled around the root system but before the seedlings have
<br />broken doraancy (prior m bud break).

<br />IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS-HARDWOOD PLANTATIONS ONLY
<br />• Applications of VELPAR° L and ESCORT XP made to yellow poplar [hat are
<br />suffering from loss of vigor caused by insects, disease, drought, winter damage,
<br />anhnal damage, excessive sol moisture, planting shock or other stresses may
<br />injure or kill the seedlings.
<br />• Applications of ESCORT XP made for release should only be made efur
<br />adequate rainfall has closed the planting slit and settled the soil around the
<br />roots following transplanting.
