8. 9,000 gal. per hour recyclable. The water source
originates higher up above the affected area, but on my
property, know~as head waters of Lost Canyon Creek. (Cashe
Creek Ditch decree) a tributary to the Arkansas River. Said
water rights are for placer mining purpose and are decreed
for a capacity of 15 cubic feet per second. But to save
time in the litigation, if I am to use or not to use the
water for mining project I am in the process of purchasing a
Twin Lakes Water Share or 1/2 share through a Pueblo
attorney at this time.
9. The creek water or surface water will be intercepted
temporally to fill the ponds through a 4 inch pipe. there
will be a gate valve to stop the flow when the ponds are
full. There will be no change in the natural flow of the
creek water. I plan to line the ponds with vinyl material
for sediment containment. There will be no chemical use in
the treatment system.
10. As I explained in number 8, I am in the process of
purchasing a Twin Lakes Water share. To get into operation
and then work out the water rights over the next couple of
years.
11. From the many disturbed areas on the property there
is no evidence of acid forming or toxic producing materials.
But if I would encounter such materials I would have to
seek outside professional help for handling. Cost would
have an important part if the mining project would continue.
