/~ r, ,.,
E. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
2. Stormwater Requirements (continued)
iii) Site Map. The plan shall provide a site map or maps which indicate the tollowin~; information, at a minimum.
For the entire area:
- mining/milling site boundaries and access and haul roads;
- equipment storage, fueling and ntain[enance areas;
- materials handling arias;
- areas used for storage of overburden, materials, soils or wastes;
- areas used for outdoor rttanufacturing, storage or disposal of materials;
- location of mine drainage or any other process water;
- tailings piles/ponds, both new and pre-existing;
- mine drainage or any other process water discharge points;
- springs, streams, wetlands and other surface waters; and
- boundaries of areas that contribute mnoff to outfalls that are subject to effluent limitations guidelines.
For those areas outside of the areas that contribute +vnoff to outfalls that are subject to effluent limitations guidelines:
- an estimate of the direction(s) of flow;
- Stormwater outfalls and an outline of the drainage area of each Stormwater outfalls
- each existing structural control measure to reduce pollutants in Stormwater runoff; and
- the location of impervious structures (e.g. parking lots, roofs, etc.)
iv) Description of Potential Pollutant Sources/Material Inventory. The plan shall provide a description of potential
sources which may reasonably be expected to add pollutants to Stormwater discharges. The plan shall identify all
activities and materials which may potentially be pollutant sources. This description of sources should agree with
sources identified on the site map. The description shall include, at a minimum:
a. An inventory and narrative description of significant materials that h:+ve been treated, stored or disposed of in a
manner to allow exposure to storm.vater from January I, 1990 to the present; method of on-site storage or
disposal; and materials management practices employed to minimize contact of these materials with Stormwater
mnoff between January I, 1990 and the present.
b. A list of significant spills and significant leaks of toxic or hazardous pollutants that occurted at the facility from
January I, 1990 to the present.
c. For each mining site area that generates Stormwater discharges with a reasonable potential for containing
pollutants, identification of the potential pollutants which are likely to be present in the Stormwater discharges.
d. A summary of any existing discharge sampling data describing pollutants in the Stormwater discharges.
v) Stormwater Oualitv Controls. The SW MP shall include a description of s[ortnwatrr quality controls to be
implemented at the Eagle Mine Complex. The control measures shall re Elect identified potential sources of
pollutants at the site. The description of Stormwater quality controls shall address the following minimum
components, including a schedule for implementing such controls:
SWMP Administrator -The SW MP shall identify a specific individual or in~Jividuals within the mining
organization who is responsible (or developing the SWMP and assisting [he mine operator in iLs implementation,
maintenance, and revision.
