Section 779.13 (a) Continued.
• The description shall be prepared according to Section 779.13-779.17 and
conform to the following:
This application provides a detailed description of geology, hydrol-
ogy and ground and surface water quality and quantity of all lands
within the proposed mine plan area, the adjacent area and the
general area, as defined in 30 CFR 701.5 and 770.5.
For a period of more than three years, detailed and exhaustive data
and information have been gathered, compiled and analyzed by Energy
Fuels, and several government agencies on the hydrology and geology
of all lands within the proposed mine plan area, the adjacent area
and the general area. Information gathered by Energy Fuels is the
result of high density exploratory drilling; field investigations;
geologic mapping; aerial photography; topographic mapping; data
from several pump tests; monitoring of numerous wells, piezometers
• and stream stations, both quantitatively and qualitatively; exten-
sive investigations by independent consultants; and monitoring of
climatological stations.
Energy Fuels has a policy of close cooperation with many government
agencies and has invited, encouraged and permitted numerous agencies
to conduct investigations and experiments within and adjacent to
the mine plan area. Such investigations and experiments have been
conducted by the U. S. Department of Agriculture's Science and
Education Administration, The Water Resources and The Conservation
Divisions of the U. S. Geological Survey, The Environmental Pro-
tection Agency, The Colorado Geological Survey and the Bureau of
Land Management. A complete list of all government agencies
and consultants is provided in the discussion under Section 771.23
(d). The hydrologic, geologic and reclamation data collected by
these government agencies alone are substantial.
• 779-8
