WATER RIGHTS:
No change from T&K 1986 report. Based on coordination with the State Engineer's Office, it
may be assumed that the water rights remain active and available for use in the Home Ditch.
Table 1. This information was verified with Mr. Truelson in
2004, and confirmed via satellite photography in 1998. See updated map (Enclosure A) and
Table 2 for acreage. Table 2 has been updated to show the new 86-year average historic
consumptive use, and the division of the south field by new construction.
Soi! Characteristics
Since the 1986 study, the USDA NRCS has published its soil survey of the azea, and the detailed
information is available as part of the MRLB application. ~ However, the information in the
original study is basically correct and therefore additional information is not provided.
Water Diversions
Except for changes as dictated by the need to dry up land and to allow for mining operations, Mr.
Truelson's diversion of water afrer 1984 continued to be much the same as prior to that time.
Compiled diversion records from the State Engineetz for 1950 through 20043 are shown in
Tables 3 and 4.
