PETROLEUM PRODUCT STORAGE AREA DRAINAGE <br />Drainage of accumulated precipitation from bermed storage azeas will be minimal <br />because of the roof and three wall system at the petroleum product unloading and <br />storage area. <br />Drdittage of precipitation from the containment bunker onto the ground is <br />performed following careful visual inspection of the azea. 1f any sign of oil <br />contamination is detected, drainage will be postponed until the contamination is <br />removed. Environmental Personnel will be wntacted by field personnel prior to <br />drainage. <br />Drainage of containment berms will be recorded in Appendix F of this plan by <br />Environmental Personnel. <br />IV. PETROLEUM PRODUCT FACILITY INSPECTIONS <br />Periodic visual checks are made by field personnel to detect corrosion and <br />deficiencies. Annual visual inspections of all above-ground tanks (including tank <br />supports and foundations), pipelines, and valves are performed and the results are <br />recorded in Appendix G of this SPCC Plan. Inspections will be done by the <br />Engineering Department, with appropriate technical personnel assisting. These <br />inspections will be performed on an annual basis during the month of August. <br />V. SECURITY <br />Fencing surrounding the active mine site controls access. <br />VI. TRAINING <br />All new personnel will be briefed on the SPCC Plan. The SPCC Plan will also <br />be periodically reviewed. A copy of this SPCC Plan will be retained at the <br />Environmental Office, Safety Office, and the Wazehouse. <br />_' <br />4 <br />
