Mr. Simpson
~ May 12, 2006
Page 2
The enclosed map shows the general loption of the proposecf_industrial site.
Water would be obtained from an on-site well that Mr. Allen would construct at that
locetion. The water requirements are summarized below:
• Up to 1.5 acre-feet per year consumptively used in the concrete hatching
process.
• Up to 1.5 acre-feet per year pumped from the well for gravel washing and
incidental in-house domestic. purposes, of which approximately 10% will be
consumed.
• Up to a total of 1.65 acre-feet per year of total consumptive use. Because the
return flows from gravel washing will return to the alluvial aquifer in the vicinity of
the well, the net pumping amount for the purpose of Glover calculations will be
1.65 acre-feet per year.
A summary of the anticipated pumping and consumptive use quantities is summarized _.
below.

Nalues in Acre-Feet)
Aug Sep Oct Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Jul ToW
2008 2007
Gravel 0.19 0.19 0.19 0.09 0 0 0 0.08 0.19 0.19 0.19 0.18 1.5
Washin
CU of .019 .019 .019 .009 0 0 0 .008 .019 .019 .019 .019 .15
Gravel
Washin
Concrete 0.19 0.19 0.19 0.09 0 0 0 0.08 0.19 0.19 0.19 0.19 1.5
Batch{
Total .38 .38 .38 .18 0 0 0 .16 .38 .38 .38 .38 3.00
Pum ed
Total .209 .209 .209 .099 0 0 0 .088 .209 .209 .209 .209 1.65
Consumed
It is noted that the monthly distribution of pumping amounts and the resulting
consumptive amounts could vary from these projected values.
Mr. Allen proposes to enter into a contract for up to 1.65 acre-feet per year of
replacement water from USPWCD. Mr. Allen is in the process of finalizing the lease
agreement for the replacement water with the USPWCD and a copy of the lease wiH be
provided to you and all parties to Case No. 03CW389 as soon as it is completed.
