C) Please refer to questions under EXHIBTI' "D" (I) for salvaging and protecting top soil.
III) EXHIBIT "L" RECLAMATION COST 6.4.12
A) Under this exhibit, the operator states, "No reclamation costs aze proposed for this operation,
since the only reclamation outside of the stream bed would be to slope the gully walls at 3H:1 V.
The Division has enclosed the financial warranty calculation with the adequacy letter. The
calculation includes the cost of cutting the embankment slopes to 3H:1 V. It also includes the re-
vegetation cost for the embankments in accordance with the local SCS recommendations
provided with the application.
However, since the permit area includes pazcels outside of the arroyo, the Division will place a
condition that if any area is affected out side of the arroyo, the operator will have to submit an
amended mining plan, and the appropriate financial warranty, to cover the cost of reclamation.
If you have additional questions or concern, please contact me at (303) 866-4072
Sincerely,
Berhan~ele~ ~ ~.7j
Reclamation Specialist
CC: James Stevens
