EXHIBIT E
RECLAMATION PLAN .AND TIMETABLE
' Reclamation ]?lan. The proposed future use of the affected
' land is to donate the property to Adams County. It is expected
that they will incorporate the property into their regional
' park plan.
The Mobile Pz-emix Concrete, Inc. reclamation plan will
create a large la}:e common with the Adams County Mann Lake.
The lake will be roughly rectangular in shape. The perimeter
lands will be reclaimed by backfilling and sloping the banks at
3 to 1 or less above water and 3 to 1 below water to a depth of
' 10 feet. All other below water slopes will be 2 to 1 or less.
Bank areas will be shaped irregularly and a few peninsular areas'
1 will be created. Revegetation will include seeding with a
suitable grass mixtureulching and fertilizing (as needed). -
The property ~~aill be mined in three stages with each
approximately one ,year in duration. At the conclusion of each
stage, a reclamation phase will commence. Please see Map,
Exhibit D and F for complete details and progression of the
mining stages and reclamation phases.
In salvaging topsoils, reference will be made to Exhibit I. II ~~
1~
' It is expected that: approximately 12 inches of soil will be
salvageable. Appro~:imately 8 to 12 inches of topsoil will be
' redistributed on the areas of the property to be reseeded. The
~1
' available water capacity at that depth will be approximately
1 inch and is considered suitable for the species recommended.
Since reclamation is an ongoing part of the mining operation,
an attempt will be made to complete all grading, fertilizing and
seeding within one year of the completion of each mining stage.
' (7)
