a. naafi uii ~~. vaa~., <br />i whenever possible, planting and fertilizing will occur in the <br />' spring; however, if due to extenuating circumstances planting <br />cannot take place in this season, planting will take place the <br />following fall season. <br />' Reclamation Performance Standards. Mining activities will <br />be in accordance with the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation <br />Performance Standards of Rule 6. <br />' Grading will be performed to create a final topography <br />appropriate to the planned future land use. When backfilling <br />is necessary, overburden and waste materials will be sufficiently <br />compacted to achieve good stability. All grading will be done <br />' in a manner to control erosion and protect areas outside the <br />' affected land from slides or other damage. All backfilling and <br />grading will be completed as soon as feasible after the mining <br />' process. All refuse will be handled and disposed of in a manner <br />that will control unsightliness and protect the drainage system <br />from pollution. 'T'here are no acid forming or toxic materials <br />' involved in this operation. There are no drill or auger holes <br /> on the land. Maximum slopes will be within the limits set <br /> forth in the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board's Rules <br />' and Regulations and will be capable of being traversed by <br /> farm machinery. <br />' This operation will be carried out in wet conditions. There <br /> will be virtually no disruption of the prevailing hydrological <br />' conditions during the life of the mine. During mining and <br /> reclamation, all applicable Colorado water laws and regulations <br /> (as this operator understands them) governing injury to existing <br /> water rights will be complied with.
