the Phase IVa azea during this reporting period. Geomembrane panels P185 through P369 were <br />deployed, seamed, and tested by Poly-Flex. Destructive fusion seam samples DF-77 through DF- <br />132, and extrusion seam samples DX-3 through DX-7 were mazked, removed, and tested. <br />Ames resumed placement of Drain Cover Fill (DCF) and haul road construction in the Phase IVa <br />area. The DCF was placed using CAT D6, D8, and D9 dozers. The DCF was placed on the floor and <br />slopes, advancing from north to south. <br />Phase Nb <br />i • <br />I~ <br />Ames continued placement of Structural Fill (SF) in the Phase IVb area. Ames placed SF above the <br />Phase III diversion channel, at the old haul road below the substation, and at the western end of the <br />PSSA floor. Ames also continued slope recontouring in the Phase Nb area on the northern PSSA <br />slope. <br />Ames hauled oversize material from the Phase IVb area to an uncontrolled fill site. <br />Ames performed confirmatory drilling activities associated with the Phase Nb construction area on <br />underground workings UG-214, UG-215, UG-493, the Ophir tunnel, UNK-I1, UNK-14, and UNK- <br />15. <br />Ames performed excavation remediation activities for underground workings UNK-11, and UNK-13. <br />These workings were observed and verified to be "Shallow or Deep", as defined in the drawings and <br />will be remediated accordingly. <br />Ames continued blast drilling of underground workings within Phase Nb at iJNK-11, iJNK-13, and <br />UNK-l4. Ames blasted underground workings delineated by confirmation drilling at UNK-lion July <br />16`~ at 17:00 at UNK-13 on July 18~' at 17:00, and at UNK-14 on July 24"' at 17:00. <br />Ames continued construction of the Phase Nb Primary and Secondary underdrains by excavating the <br />trenches and placing materials. Ames began construction of the Secondary underdrain below the <br />substation hill. <br />Phase IVc <br />Ames did not conduct any construction activities in the Phase Nc azea during this reporting period. <br />Field Monitoring and Testing Activities <br />Golder observed construction activities associated with Phase IV earthworks. All construction <br />materials and soil materials placed were verified as suitable, and construction methods were in <br />accordance with project specifications. Removal of oversized and deleterious material from all fill <br />azeas was observed.
