(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase IVa, b, and c Construction <br />Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of June 2"a <br />through June 15'x, 2002. <br />The weather during this reporting period was cleaz to cloudy. Approximate daytime low temperatures <br />ranged from 33° F to 55° F, and highs ranged from 65° F to 90° F. Rain was recorded on May 4a', <br />2002. Weather observations were made on fourteen days of this fourteen-day reporting period. <br />Construction Synopsis <br />Ames Construction Ina (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthwork contractor for the Phase IVa, <br />b, and c construction. Ames conducted Phase IVa, b, and c construction activities on all fourteen <br />days of this fourteen-day reporting period. <br />Phase IVa <br />Ames placed Structural Fill (SF) in the southwest corner of the Phase IVa area near the ADR building. <br />Ames conducted slope recontouring throughout the southern end of the Phase IVa azea and continued <br />final subgrade prepazation. A Catetpillaz CS563C roller provided compactive effort, while a Mack <br />water truck provided moisture conditioning. <br />Ames continued to haul, place, and conduct final surface preparations on Soil Liner Fill (SLF) in Phase <br />IVa. SLF was hauled and placed below the 9575 road ai the southem end of the Phase Na area. Ames <br />continued to conduct Depth Verification Testing, completing test twenty-four through twenty-nine. <br />Ames continued excavation of the anchor trench azound the northeast end of Phase IVa in prepazation <br />for geomembrane deployment.
