Exhibit C - Mining Plan <br />1. Beginning 8c ending dates: <br />Nlining will commence approximately May 1, 1989. This of <br />course assumes that all required local and state permits have <br />been obtained by that date. Mining would be conducted during <br />only a portion of the year due to seasonal weather constraints. A <br />typical season based on past years would be estimated to be April <br />15 through November 15. Frorn November 15 to April 15 snow cover, <br />ground frost, etc. will prer_lude mining operations. <br />Based upon twelve (12} to fourteen (14} foot depths of <br />deposit and 6~,0G3G3 to 763,000 tons per year removed, the 9.9 acre <br />site would be mined for approximately five (5} to six (5} years. <br />Actual depths and other variables may affect the total time of <br />the p'.^oject. Present estimates, however, would he for an ending <br />date of November 15, 199.`x. <br />2. :Popsoil: <br />Five test holes were done on the site for determination of <br />depth and extent of deposit, ground water, etc. <br />variee; from two (Z) to twelve (12) inches.
