Subsequent to construction of the dam, the <br />upstream disturbances associated with the borrow areas will be reclaimed in <br />accordance with the original Permit Application, as amended. <br />3. Davis Gulch - Middle Fork Confluence <br />Most of the channel work downstream of the first switchback has <br />been completed as part of the access road construction. Above the first switch- <br />back, the exact routing of the channels depends on issues which are not resolved <br />at this time. These are: <br />-- The final configuration of the surplus fill material in Lower <br />Davis Gulch <br />-- The final configuration of the area currently <br />occupied by the semi-works retort, after the semi-works retort is <br />removed (currently scheduled late 1982) <br />Present plans call for the grading of the surplus fill materials <br />currently in Lower Davis Gulch into astable slope upon which a channel could be <br />constructed. Details concerning the grading and necessary channelization work <br />will be transmitted to the staff for review prior to implementation of actual <br />field work. <br />4. Application of Dust Suppressants <br />During July and August, 1982, extensive application of dust suppressants <br />was completed. Below is a summary of the dust suppressant work on the Colony site: <br />o Corexit, a biodegradable organic surfactant produced by Exxon <br />Chemical Company, has been applied to the Parachute terminal <br />• and parking lot areas which comprise about 100 acres. <br />PD 1000.102 614 <br />
