The Operator shall take measures to assure the stability of replaced <br />topsoil on graded elopes,such as roughing in final reclamation, <br />(Pages "E-4" through "E-19")• <br />e. The vegetative piles shall all be removed from the area or utilized in <br />accordance with the reclamation plan. <br />Rule 6. 5 - Revegetation <br />a. The affected land will be re vegetated in such a way as to produce a diverse, <br />effective and long lasting vegeta*.ive cover that is capable of self-regeneration <br />without continued dependence on irrigation, soil amendments or fertilizer and <br />is at Least equal in extent of cover to the natural vegetation of the surrounding <br />area. <br />b. Since the Operator's choice of reclamation is for range, the land will be <br />restored to slopes commensurate w~h the proposed land use and will not be <br />too s±eep to be transversed by livestock. The area will be seeded either by <br />hand or power, whichever is the most feasible in each area. <br />(Pages "E-4"through "E-19")• <br />c.
